Santa's Sleigh Loaded with Presents Limoges Box
Santa's sleigh is piled high with presents on this festive porcelain box, ready to take off on Christmas Eve. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, and it brings the excitement of the night before Christmas to any shelf.
Loaded Up at the North Pole
Few images say Christmas as quickly as Santa's sleigh, and this one comes packed with wrapped gifts heading out for delivery. It is a favorite subject for holiday collectors who add a new piece every year.
Dashing Through the Snow
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- Fits a Christmas, Santa or winter holiday collection
- Pairs with reindeer, snowman and Christmas tree boxes
Making Its Annual Appearance
Bring it out with the stockings and set it on a mantel, a sideboard or beside the tree. It makes a fine Secret Santa present, a thank-you after a holiday open house, or a Christmas morning surprise for a grandparent who loves the season.
A Tradition in Porcelain
Many Limoges boxes are painted by hand after the white porcelain is fired, and their metal mounts are fitted by hand too, which makes each one a small piece of craftsmanship worth bringing out year after year.
