Oval Christmas Candles and Holly Limoges Box
Christmas candles framed by holly decorate this oval porcelain box, bringing the glow of a holiday table into one small piece painted by hand on porcelain in the workshops of Limoges, France.
By Candlelight
Candles and holly have dressed Christmas tables for centuries, the warm light pushing back the long winter evenings. This oval box gathers both motifs in a classic holiday composition. Because the decoration is painted by hand, each box shows small differences in the holly and the candle glow.

Set the Holiday Table
Place it at the center of a Christmas dinner table among real tapers, on a mantel with greenery, or on an entry table where guests arrive for a party. It makes an easy hostess thank you for a holiday dinner, a secret Santa exchange, or a small December birthday treat. Its oval shape sits neatly beside round and hexagon holiday boxes, and collectors who enjoy traditional motifs will find it a welcome addition to the season's display.
