Rochard Joyeux Noel Candle and Holly Limoges Box
A Christmas candle wreathed in holly carries the greeting Joyeux Noel on this Rochard Limoges box. Hand-painted in Limoges, France, it wishes Merry Christmas in the language of its birthplace.
Candlelight on Christmas Eve
Candles have lit the long December nights for centuries, from church windows to family dinner tables. Pairing one with glossy holly and a French holiday greeting gives this piece a warm, old-world feeling, like a village chapel on the night before Christmas.
A French Noel
- A Rochard design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
- Belongs with Christmas, candle or French themed boxes
- Pairs with wreath, angel, nativity and Eiffel Tower pieces
Glowing on the Mantel
Set it among real candles on the mantel, on a holiday dinner table, or beside a creche on a side table. It is a natural present for a French teacher, a friend with French roots, a francophile who spent a Christmas in Paris, or a choir member who sings at midnight Mass. A porcelain candle also stays safe to leave out all season, no matches needed.
Rochard's holiday pieces are favorites for building a Christmas collection, and a French greeting gives this one a special place on the shelf.
