Flat Square Joyeux Noel Christmas Limoges Box
Joyeux Noel, the French way of saying Merry Christmas, is the greeting on this flat, square porcelain box. It was hand-painted in Limoges, France, which makes the French message all the more fitting.
Merry Christmas, the French Way
Joyeux Noel has a lovely ring to it, and it brings a touch of Paris to holiday decorating. The flat square shape works almost like a little Christmas card made of porcelain.
Season's Greetings on the Shelf
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- Fits a Christmas, French holiday or Noel collection
- Pairs with Santa, sleigh and Christmas tree boxes
Setting the Holiday Scene
Because it lies flat, it rests nicely on a coffee table, a holiday sideboard or a stack of Christmas books. It makes a thoughtful Secret Santa present, a thank-you to a holiday hostess, or a December surprise for a French teacher.
Anyone who has strolled a Christmas market in France will recognize the cheerful greeting at once, and the piece can bring those memories back every year when the decorations come out of the attic.
