Joyeux Noel Christmas Limoges Box
Joyeux Noel, the French wish for a merry Christmas, is the message on this rectangular box, ready to greet the season in style. Made and painted by hand in Limoges, France, it is a porcelain Limoges box that brings a little of Paris to the holiday shelf.
Greetings in French
In France, the season is marked by Christmas markets, midnight Mass and a long Reveillon dinner on Christmas Eve, and Joyeux Noel is heard everywhere. Seeing the phrase on porcelain from Limoges ties the greeting to one of France's oldest crafts. The lettering and colors are painted by hand, so each box shows small variations.
Holiday Mantel Lineup

- Fits a Christmas, Noel or French holiday collection

Tucked Beside the Stockings
Tuck a pair of earrings, a ring or a handwritten note inside and set it under the tree for someone special. It makes a charming present for a French teacher, a Francophile friend or a family with French roots. Through December it looks right on a mantel, an entry table or a dessert buffet, then it can join the rest of the holiday pieces until next year.
