Rochard Noel Lithosphere Votive Light in Limoges Porcelain
Noel, the French word for Christmas, is the theme of this Rochard Lithosphere votive light, made in Limoges porcelain in Limoges, France. Light a small candle inside and it adds a warm holiday glow to the table.
Joyeux Noel by Candlelight
In France, Noel means the whole season: the markets, the midnight Mass, the long Christmas Eve dinner called le réveillon. This votive light brings that word to the holiday table in porcelain from the heart of French porcelain country. Rochard's Lithosphere series is built around candlelight, and Noel is its Christmas voice.
Setting the Holiday Table
Place it at the center of a Christmas Eve dinner, among the greenery on a mantel, or on a sideboard next to the dessert platter. It makes a welcome hostess thank-you at a holiday party, a token for a French teacher in December, or a present for friends who host the family Christmas every year. Use a votive or tea light candle, and never leave a lit flame unattended.
