Rochard Set of Three Nesting Old World Santa Limoges Boxes

Three Old World Santas nest one inside another, each a little smaller than the last, like a porcelain set of Russian dolls dressed for Christmas. This is a Rochard set of Limoges pieces, hand-painted in Limoges, France.

Santa, Times Three

Old World Santas recall the Father Christmas of European tradition rather than the modern cartoon Santa. Here three of them fit together, so the set can sit as one figure or be lined up as a trio. Each one is painted by hand.

Trimming the Mantel

Line them up from tallest to smallest on a mantel, a sideboard or a hall table, or nest them together on a crowded shelf. They make a memorable present for a Santa collector, a family that celebrates with European traditions, or a host who goes all out each December.

The Santa Collection

• A Rochard Christmas set, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• A centerpiece for a Santa or Old World Christmas collection
• Pairs with sleigh, reindeer and Christmas tree boxes

Nesting sets are less common than single boxes, which makes them a fun talking point when the holiday decorations come out. Many families open them up together each year as part of trimming the house.
