Christmas Toy Chest Limoges Box with Toy Soldier
A toy chest overflows with Christmas treasures in this festive porcelain scene, with a toy soldier standing guard among the playthings. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box crafted in Limoges, France, that captures the magic of Christmas morning.
Christmas Morning Treasures
There is no sight quite like a chest brimming with new toys after Santa has made his rounds. This piece gathers that excitement into one small box, and the toy soldier at its center recalls the Nutcracker and generations of holiday stories.
Under the Tree Display
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- A cheerful fit for a Christmas or vintage toy collection
- Pairs with rocking horses, teddy bears and Santa pieces
Wrapped With a Bow
It is a heartwarming present for grandparents who love to spoil the family at the holidays, a toy shop owner, or anyone who still remembers a favorite childhood toy. Bring it out each December to sit beneath the tree, on the mantel beside the stockings, or on a hall table where guests can admire it.
Holiday pieces are among the most popular in Limoges collecting, and many families add a new one each year. A toy chest full of playthings makes a lively addition to that yearly tradition.
