Christmas Drum Porcelain Limoges Box

A festive drum, dressed up for the holidays, seems ready to beat out a carol at any moment. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, made in Limoges, France, brings the music of the season to a mantel or tree side table.

Pa Rum Pum Pum Pum

The drum has long been part of Christmas, from the song about the little drummer boy to toy soldiers and parade bands. This porcelain drum is painted by hand in holiday colors, so its trim and details vary slightly from one piece to the next.

Gifts for the Band

A school band director, a percussionist or a church choir member would all enjoy it at Christmas. It also makes a fine stocking surprise for a music teacher or a friend who loves holiday concerts.
