Christmas Caroler Girl on a Snowy Drum Limoges Box

Ready to make music for the season, a little girl caroler sits on a snow covered drum with her accordion. This hand-painted porcelain figurine box was made in Limoges, France, with the drum forming the box and the singer perched on top.

Carols on the Village Green

Caroling from house to house is one of the oldest Christmas customs, and this piece captures its spirit in one small figure. The painted snow on the drum suggests a cold evening, while the accordion promises a cheerful tune. It looks like a scene lifted from a Christmas card.

Music for the Holidays

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a Christmas, caroling or music collection
• Pairs with snowmen, bells and other caroler pieces

December on the Mantel

Set it out on a mantel, a piano top or a sideboard each December, and pack it away with the ornaments in January. Music teachers, choir members, and accordion players will all see themselves in it. It also makes a charming thank you for a church choir director or a holiday concert host, and it looks right beside a stack of well worn carol books.
