Nesting Santa Rochard Limoges Box with Ball Top
Jolly Santa nests snugly in this holiday piece, crowned with a round ball on top like the tip of a Christmas tree. Rochard made this porcelain Limoges box in Limoges, France, where every bit of it was painted by hand.
Santa All Tucked In
Nesting pieces have a cozy charm, one shape tucked inside another the way presents hide under the tree. The ball on top gives this Santa a festive finial, as if he were ready to hang among the ornaments.
Ho Ho Ho on the Mantel
Rochard brings a warm, cheerful style to its Santa designs. Since each piece is brushed by hand in Limoges, the rosy cheeks and holiday colors vary a little from one Santa to another, so no two look exactly alike.
The Santa Shelf
- A Rochard nesting Santa design from Limoges
- Joins sleigh, reindeer and North Pole boxes
- Fits a Santa, Christmas village or holiday collection
Set it out the day after Thanksgiving on a mantel, a bookshelf or a breakfast table, and let it stay until the tree comes down. It makes a cheerful yearly addition for a Santa collector, a festive teacher present in December, or a warm thank you for the neighbor who always lights up the block.
