Retired Santa Bag of Toys Porcelain Limoges Box

Stuffed to the top with toys for the big night, Santa's sack forms this retired Christmas box. The bag and the toys spilling from it are hand-painted on porcelain in Limoges, France.

Packed for the Sleigh

Every Christmas story needs Santa's bag, the bottomless sack that holds a gift for every name on the list. This piece shows it full to bursting and ready for the rooftops. Each box was painted by hand, so the toys and colors vary slightly from piece to piece.

First Christmas Memories

This box makes a lovely present for a new baby's first Christmas, a grandparent who plays Santa every year or a toy shop owner. It also suits the family member who wraps every present with care and insists on hiding them until Christmas Eve.

Set it under the tree among the real packages, on a mantel beside the stockings or on a holiday sideboard. Tuck a tiny ornament or a handwritten note inside, and it becomes a small surprise of its own on Christmas morning.
