Cigar Box with Removable Cigars Porcelain Limoges

A box of fine cigars sits open, the tiny porcelain cigars inside ready to be lifted out one by one. This hand-painted Limoges box, made in Limoges, France, brings the ritual of the after dinner cigar into miniature.

Light Up the Den

The cigar box is a classic of the gentleman's study, and this version adds the playful touch of removable porcelain cigars. The box and its contents are painted by hand, so the wood tones and labels carry small variations from piece to piece.

A Celebratory Puff

Handing out cigars has long marked big news, from the birth of a baby to a promotion or a winning season. This is a fun way to keep that tradition without the smoke, given to a new father, a retiring executive or a friend who enjoys a good cigar on the porch. Set it on a desk in a home office, a bar cart or a library shelf where it fits naturally among leather chairs and old books.
