La Canudo Cigar in Ashtray Porcelain Limoges Box

A La Canudo cigar rests in a porcelain ashtray here, and the cigar lifts out, making this a playful piece for a smoking room shelf. Both were painted by hand in Limoges, France, as Limoges porcelain.

Resting Between Puffs

There is something relaxed about a cigar left smoldering in an ashtray during a long conversation. This piece captures that moment in porcelain, a decorative tribute rather than a working ashtray. The removable cigar adds a bit of fun for anyone who picks it up. Hand painting gives each piece small variations.

For the Cigar Connoisseur

This makes a memorable present for a cigar enthusiast, a new father, a retiring partner, or a groom on his wedding day. It also suits a man who has given up smoking but still misses the ritual, since this cigar never needs lighting.

Set it on a desk, a side table beside a leather armchair, or a bar cart next to the decanters. Cigar collectors often build a whole den scene in porcelain, and an ashtray with a cigar in place makes a natural centerpiece. Its hand-painted finish gives each piece a character of its own.
