Rochard Blue and Pink Carousel Limoges Box

A carousel in blue and pink seems ready to spin in this Rochard porcelain Limoges box, a merry go round frozen in a single happy moment. It was hand-painted in Limoges, France, with the playful detail Rochard is known for.

Round and Round We Go

Carousels have thrilled fairgoers since the 1800s, when carved wooden horses and organ music first turned up at country fairs and city parks. A carousel in blue and pink captures that cheerful spirit in pastel tones.

A Rochard Merry Go Round

Fairground Memories

Give it to someone with fond memories of riding the carousel at a summer fair, a couple who had their first date at an amusement park, or a new baby whose nursery is done in blue and pink. Set it on a dresser, a bookshelf or a curio shelf where the colors catch the light. It brings back the music and laughter of a day at the fair.
