Circus Elephant Porcelain Limoges Box Figurine
A circus elephant steps into the spotlight on this porcelain figurine box, ready for the grand parade around the big top. It was modeled and painted by hand in Limoges, France.
Under the Big Top
Elephants were the stars of the traveling circus for generations, leading the parade into town and drawing crowds to the center ring. This piece remembers that old-time spectacle with affection, capturing the gentle giant as a performer rather than a wild animal on the savanna.

An Elephant for Good Luck
Many people consider elephant figures a sign of good fortune, which makes this one a cheerful present for a new job, a new home or a graduation. Elephant collectors are a devoted bunch, and a circus elephant adds a festive twist to a shelf of more serious safari pieces. Display it on a bookcase, a desk or a playful corner cabinet devoted to the carnival. Elephants are said to never forget, so it also suits a reunion or a milestone birthday.
