Berry Jam Jar Porcelain Limoges Box

Think of warm toast, a sunny breakfast table and a jar of homemade berry jam waiting to be opened. That cozy scene is captured in this hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, made and painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Spread a Little Sweetness

Jam jars belong to the long tradition of food themed Limoges boxes, where everyday kitchen favorites become tiny works of porcelain. The jar shape forms the box, and the berry theme brings to mind summer picking and long afternoons at the stove.

Hand It to the Jam Maker

Everyone knows someone who fills the pantry with homemade preserves each summer. This little jar makes a fitting thank-you for that friend, a hostess present for a brunch, or a birthday surprise for a baker who never shows up empty-handed.

It sits comfortably on a kitchen windowsill, a breakfast nook shelf or a hutch next to everyday china. Grouped with a teapot box and a small loaf of bread, it creates a charming French breakfast vignette that brings a smile on gray mornings.
