Rochard Halloween Cat in Treat Bag Limoges Box with Candy Corn

A cat has claimed the trick or treat bag on this Rochard Halloween piece, and a candy corn comes along as a removable treat. Cat, bag and candy are all hand-painted Rochard porcelain from Limoges, France.

Trick, Treat or Tabby

Cats and Halloween go together like pumpkins and porches, and this one has clearly found the best spot in the candy bag. The removable candy corn adds a playful extra, the sort of surprise Rochard loves to include. Every piece is painted by hand, so the cat's coloring and expression vary slightly.

October Evenings

Bring it out on the first of October and set it on a mantel among small pumpkins, on an entry table by the candy bowl, or in a curio with other Halloween pieces. It is a fun present for a cat owner with a birthday in the fall, a Halloween party host, or a friend who decorates for October more than any other holiday. Cat collectors will enjoy the seasonal twist, and it stays out through the end of harvest season.
