Ghost in the Computer Retired Limoges Box

Someone forgot to log off, and now a ghost has taken up residence inside the computer. This tongue-in-cheek retired design is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box from Limoges, France.

A Glitch in the Machine

Every office has had a day when the computer seems haunted, and this box turns that frustration into a laugh. The ghost and the machine together make an unusual mix of Halloween and modern life. It is one of the more surprising subjects in any spooky collection.

Logged In for Halloween

• A retired design, painted by hand on Limoges porcelain
• Fits Halloween, ghost and office humor themes
• A clever twist among pumpkins and witches

Desk Duty

It belongs on a home office desk, beside a monitor or on a bookshelf in an IT department. Give it to a programmer, a help desk hero, a gamer or the coworker who always blames the computer gremlins. It is also a fun retirement present for someone leaving a long career in tech.

A Box With a Past

Small porcelain boxes became fashionable in 18th-century France for carrying snuff, pills and beauty patches. Few of those early makers could have imagined a ghost living in a computer, which is part of the fun.
