Retired Haunted House Halloween Limoges Box
Shadows gather around the haunted mansion that forms this Halloween box. The spooky house is modeled in porcelain and hand-painted in Limoges, France, and the design has since been retired.
Who Lives Here
Haunted houses are the heart of Halloween, from campfire tales to amusement park rides. This piece turns that eerie mansion into a small porcelain building you can set on a mantel. Each one was painted by hand, so the colors and details vary from house to house.
A Retired Halloween Find
- A retired design, no longer produced
- Fits a Halloween, haunted house or autumn collection
- Pairs with witch, black cat, ghost and pumpkin boxes
October Evenings
Bring it out on the first of October and set it among candles, gourds and autumn leaves on a mantel or an entry table. It makes a fun present for a horror movie fan, a Halloween party host or a friend whose porch is the spookiest on the street.
Retired Halloween pieces tend to be harder to find than Christmas ones, since fewer were made. A haunted house like this one gives a seasonal collection a natural centerpiece around which the witches and black cats can gather.
