Rochard Witch Spell Books Limoges Box with Spider
A stack of spell books, a spider and the witch who owns them come together in one small Halloween scene. Rochard made this Limoges box in porcelain, painted by hand in Limoges, France.
Double, Double, Porcelain Trouble
Every good witch keeps her spells close, and these books look well thumbed by someone with plans for October. The spider adds a creepy crawly note, while the witch lends the scene its storybook character. It strikes the balance Halloween collectors like best: spooky enough to suit the season, friendly enough to leave out on the coffee table.
Under the Harvest Moon
Set it on a bookcase among real volumes and let guests find it, or give it a spot on an entry table beside a carved pumpkin and a flickering candle. A shelf draped with faux cobwebs suits it well, too. It is a fun thank-you for the host of a Halloween party, and a natural pick for anyone who reads fantasy novels year round.
