Cottage with Welcome Plaque Rochard Limoges Box
A cozy cottage stands ready for guests with a welcome plaque out front, the very picture of a home with the door always open. Rochard made it as a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box in Limoges, France.
Come On In
A welcome sign says a lot about the people inside: there is coffee on, there is room at the table, and nobody needs to call ahead. This little house captures that spirit. The roof, walls and plaque are painted by hand, so each cottage has its own small differences in color and line.
Home Sweet Housewarming
This is a natural present for a first home closing, a housewarming party, a new neighbor or a couple who just finished a renovation. Realtors often look for a piece like this to thank a client. It also makes a sweet remembrance of a childhood home that has been sold, or a vacation cottage the family visited every summer.
