Snowy Winter House Retired Christmas Limoges Box
A little house tucked into a snowy winter landscape looks like the perfect hideaway for a long Christmas weekend. This retired design was painted by hand on porcelain in Limoges, France, as a Limoges box.
Home for the Holidays
Snow-covered houses are the heart of every Christmas village, calling to mind crackling fires, warm windows and family gathered inside. This box captures that cozy feeling in a single scene. It is a peaceful, wintry subject that works from the first snowfall to the last.

Snowed In and Happy
Arrange it on a mantel with cotton snow and bottle-brush trees, on a sideboard or in a curio as part of a little village. It makes a meaningful present for a new homeowner's first winter, a family that just moved into a farmhouse, or a real estate agent's closing thank-you. Anyone who loves a snowy Christmas card scene will treasure it.
As one of the retired winter pieces, it often becomes the anchor of a porcelain holiday village.
