Yellow Cottage Porcelain Limoges Box

Sunny yellow walls give this porcelain cottage the welcoming look of a house where the kettle is always on. It is a hand-painted Limoges box, made in Limoges, France, that celebrates the simple joy of home.

Home Sweet Yellow Home

Houses and cottages are long-standing subjects for Limoges boxes, and a cheerful color like this one makes the theme feel warm and lived-in. The color is painted by hand, so no two cottages look quite the same.

Keys to a New Door

This is a natural housewarming present, a closing-day thank-you from a real estate agent, or a keepsake for a couple who just bought their first home. It also suits someone who grew up in a yellow house, or a retiree moving into a cozy cottage by the lake. Set it on an entry table near the keys, a mantel beside a family photo, or a bookshelf in the new living room.
