Rochard Beagle Hound Porcelain Limoges Box

A Beagle, the merry little hound with the big voice and the bigger nose, is captured here in porcelain. Rochard made the Beagle as a porcelain Limoges box, with every marking painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Nose to the Ground

Beagles have been tracking rabbits across fields for centuries, and they have the cheerful, curious character to match. The dog itself forms the box, with its coat and soft ears painted by hand, so every Beagle carries its own expression.

The Hound Shelf

• A Rochard dog design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• A natural fit for hound and dog breed collections
• Pairs with Basset Hound, Dachshund and Cocker Spaniel boxes

Howls of Approval

Set it by the back door, on a bookshelf or on a bedside table. It is a welcome birthday present for a Beagle owner, a thank you for a rescue volunteer, or a way to remember a much loved hound who made the house a little louder and a lot happier.

Collectors who own Beagles often add a second hound piece to keep this one company. A pair on the shelf feels just right for a breed that has always liked to travel in a pack.
