Rochard French Bulldog and Butterfly Limoges Box

A French Bulldog keeps company with a butterfly on this Rochard piece, as charming as a Frenchie watching the garden on a summer afternoon, and it was hand-painted on porcelain in Limoges, France.

Bat Ears and Butterflies

The French Bulldog, with its bat ears and comic expression, has become one of the most loved breeds in the world. Pairing one with a butterfly adds a soft, playful note. Rochard paints each piece by hand, so the dog's markings and the butterfly's colors vary a little from one to the next.

For Every Frenchie Parent

This is a thoughtful present for a new puppy owner, a birthday surprise for someone who dresses their Frenchie for the holidays, or a sympathy keepsake after the loss of a beloved dog, since the butterfly is often seen as a symbol of a spirit set free. It also suits a dog groomer or breeder. Set it on a desk next to a pet photo, a nightstand, or a bookshelf, where it will catch the eye of every dog person who visits.
