Rochard Grey Poodle Dog Porcelain Limoges Box

A grey poodle, one of the most stylish breeds of all, is captured in this graceful porcelain portrait. Rochard made the dog as a Limoges box and painted its coat by hand in Limoges, France.

Parisian Poise

Though the breed began in Germany as a water retriever, the poodle became so beloved in France that many think of it as the national dog. Poodles are prized for their sharp minds and loyal nature as much as for their famous grooming. Rochard painted this grey coat by hand, so each dog shows its own subtle variations.

Best in Show Pairings

• A Rochard dog breed design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Fits a poodle, dog breed or Paris themed grouping
• Pairs well with Eiffel Tower, perfume bottle and French bulldog boxes

Fired at High Heat

Limoges porcelain is hard-paste porcelain, fired at very high heat, which gives this poodle its bright, durable body. Set it on a vanity, a nightstand or a curio cabinet beside framed photos of a favorite pup. It makes a lovely present for a poodle owner, a groomer, a breeder after a successful show, or anyone remembering a beloved companion.
