Whiskers on Tartan

Schnauzers are known for their bearded faces and bushy brows, and they have a way of claiming the best seat in the house. Setting this one on a plaid pillow gives the piece a warm, lived-in charm that dog owners will recognize instantly.

A Cozy Corner Companion

Set it in a den, on a reading nook shelf or on a desk next to a photo of your own pup. It makes a thoughtful birthday present for a schnauzer owner, a thank-you for a favorite groomer or dog sitter, or a gentle remembrance for someone who has lost a faithful companion. Breed club members often collect pieces like this one by the dozen.

A Long Line of Little Boxes

Porcelain boxes first caught on in 18th-century France as cases for snuff, pills and beauty patches, and collectors have kept the tradition alive ever since.
