Rochard Scottie Dog Limoges Box in Plaid

A Scottish Terrier stands proud against a plaid backdrop, the breed and the tartan together the way they always seem to appear. The terrier and tartan were brushed on by hand in Limoges, France, on a Rochard porcelain box.

Highland Terrier Swagger

The Scottie is a small dog with a big personality, all whiskers, eyebrows and confidence. Pairing it with plaid nods to the breed's homeland and to the classic look of tartan scarves and wool blankets. The plaid is painted by hand line by line, which takes patience and gives the pattern its crisp character.

Tartan and Terrier

• A Rochard dog breed piece from Limoges, France
• Joins terrier, Scottish heritage or plaid-themed groupings
• Sits well alongside Westie, Cairn or Schnauzer pieces

A Spot by the Fire

It feels at home on a bookshelf in a wood-paneled den, on a nightstand, or on a desk beside a framed photo of the family dog. Scottie owners tend to spot their own dog in it immediately. It works as a birthday present for a terrier fan, a remembrance of a beloved Scottie, or a Burns Night nod for someone proud of Scottish roots. The plaid also brings a cozy note to a room in the colder months.
