Frog Prince Fairy Tale Porcelain Limoges Box

The frog from the old fairy tale, waiting for the kiss that will break his spell, is the star of this porcelain box. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, a storybook character brought to the shelf.

One Kiss Away From Royalty

The Frog Prince is one of the best loved tales in the Brothers Grimm collection, and its message is easy to like: true worth can hide in an unlikely shape. That theme makes this box a playful choice for weddings and engagements, when someone has clearly found their prince. Each piece is painted by hand, so every frog has a slightly different finish.

Happily Ever After Gifts

Hand it to a bride at her shower with a wink, give it to a friend who kissed a few frogs before meeting the right one, or add it to the shelf of anyone who collects frogs. It sits well on a vanity, a bedside table or a bookshelf beside a volume of fairy tales. Frog collectors often look for this character first, since he brings a whole story with him.
