Rochard Magic Oil Lamp Limoges Box with Aladdin Figure

Rub the lamp and make a wish: this Rochard box takes the shape of Aladdin's magic oil lamp from the Arabian Nights, and a small Aladdin figure comes along as a removable accent. Rochard sculpted the lamp in porcelain, and painters in Limoges, France, gave it color by hand.

Three Wishes on the Shelf

The tale of Aladdin and the genie of the lamp has been retold for centuries, from the pages of One Thousand and One Nights to the stage and the screen. Rochard caught both halves of the story here, the lamp and the young hero himself. It is porcelain made to look like a lamp, not a working one, and the little figure can stand beside it on display.

For Dreamers and Wish Makers

Give it to a theater fan after a musical, a storyteller, a librarian or anyone who still makes a wish on birthday candles. It suits a reading nook, a bookshelf among classic tales or a desk where a little magic helps. Keep the Aladdin figure with the lamp so the story stays whole.
