Angel Pig with Wings Retired Limoges Box
When pigs fly, they apparently do it with little angel wings, as this retired porcelain box shows. The winged pig is hand-painted in Limoges, France, a lighthearted blend of the farmyard and the heavens.
When Pigs Fly
The old saying about flying pigs describes something that will never happen, which makes this little angel all the more fun. Wings turn an ordinary farm animal into a heavenly messenger with a sense of humor. Each piece was painted by hand, so the coloring and the wings vary slightly from box to box.

Cheer in a Small Package
This box makes a smile-worthy present for a pig collector, a farmer, a friend recovering from a tough week or anyone who has said something would happen when pigs fly and then watched it come true. It suits a promotion that seemed impossible, a long-awaited engagement or a finished degree.
Set it on a kitchen windowsill, a desk or a curio shelf beside other angels. It reminds everyone that good things can arrive when least expected.
