Farm Girl with Milk Bucket Porcelain Limoges Box

Morning chores on the farm come to life with this young girl and her milk bucket, a picture of country life at its most simple and wholesome. The scene was painted by hand on a porcelain Limoges box in Limoges, France, and the design is now retired.

Milking Time at Dawn

Before sunrise on a dairy farm, the milk pail was the first thing to grab on the way to the barn. This piece honors that rural tradition and the hard-working spirit of farm families everywhere.

Farmhouse Ledger

• A retired design from the Limoges farm and figurine line
• Suits a farm, country life or dairy collection
• Pairs with cow on oval, pig and chicken pieces

Country Kitchen Corner

Set it on a farmhouse hutch, a kitchen windowsill or a shelf beside other farm animals. It makes a sweet present for someone who grew up on a farm, a dairy farmer's family, a 4-H leader, or a friend who decorates in country style.

A gentle reminder of early mornings, fresh milk and simple pleasures, and a favorite with anyone who remembers chores in the barn long before breakfast was on the table.
