Mother Pig and Three Piglets Rochard Limoges Box

A mother pig and her three little piglets make up a happy farm family. The group is a Rochard Limoges box, porcelain painted by hand in Limoges, France.

This Little Piggy

A sow with her piglets is one of the sweetest scenes on any farm, a picture of a full, comfortable family. The three babies give the piece a playful warmth that makes almost everyone smile.

Life on the Farm

• A Rochard farm animal design from Limoges, France
• Joins rooster, cow and barn themed boxes
• Fits a pig, farm or country kitchen collection

Big Families and Little Ones

This piece makes a fitting present for a mother of three, a family welcoming a third baby, or a grandmother who has watched the family grow. It also suits a farmer, a 4-H leader or anyone who collects pigs in every form.

Painted Once the Kiln Cools

Limoges porcelain is hard-paste porcelain, fired at very high heat, and the painting on a box like this one is added by hand after that firing. Set the family on a kitchen shelf, a farmhouse hutch or a nursery dresser, where the little piglets will keep the mood cheerful.
