Tropical Fish Figurine Limoges Box, Second Design

Here is the second fish in our tropical pair, its body painted in vibrant colors that hint at warm, shallow water. The fish forms a porcelain figurine box that opens to a small hidden space, and it was painted by hand and made in Limoges, France.

A School of Two

A single fish catches the eye, but two together start to look like a reef. This design was made as a companion to our other tropical fish box, so the pair reads as two fish swimming side by side.

Making Waves on the Shelf

• Porcelain painted by hand in Limoges, France
• Completes a matched pair with the first tropical fish design
• Joins seashell, dolphin and lighthouse pieces in a coastal grouping

Seaside Settings and Occasions

A sunny windowsill in a lake cottage, a powder room with blue tile, or a glass shelf beside a fish tank all show off its colors. Give it to a marine biology graduate, a scuba instructor, or a couple returning from a Caribbean honeymoon. It also brightens a coastal room through the gray months, when everyone could use a reminder of warm water and long beach afternoons spent with a mask and fins.
