Square Stamp Limoges Box, Light Pink Floral

Light pink flowers trim this square stamp box, a pretty nod to the days when letters were written by hand and sealed with care. Its blossoms were brushed onto the porcelain by hand in Limoges, France, where this Limoges box was made.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered

Stamp boxes were once a fixture on every writing desk, holding postage for thank-you notes and long letters to faraway friends. This square version keeps that tradition alive with soft pink blooms. The light palette makes it feel fresh and feminine.

The Writing Desk

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a desk, writing or floral collection
• Pairs with inkwell, quill and letter pieces

For the Letter Writers

Set it on a secretary desk, a home office shelf, or a vanity where it can hold stamps, paper clips or a ring. It makes a thoughtful present for a pen pal, a calligrapher, a wedding planner, or a friend who still sends handwritten cards. Brides often use one to keep the stamps for their thank-you notes after the wedding.

Painted by Hand, Fitted by Hand

Many Limoges boxes are painted by hand once the white porcelain has been fired, and their metal mounts are fitted by hand as well.
