Light Blue Chest Limoges Box with Flowers
Light blue and painted with flowers, this chest shaped porcelain box has the soft look of a cottage bedroom on a spring morning. Every flower was added by hand in Limoges, France, on this little Limoges chest.
Sky Blue Cottage Charm
Pale blue is a restful color, the shade of clear skies and well washed linen. On a chest shape it calls to mind painted furniture in a farmhouse or a seaside cabin. The flowers add a garden freshness that keeps the piece light and cheerful.
A Trunk Full of Blooms
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- Fits a blue, floral or miniature furniture collection
- Looks lovely beside a darker blue chest for contrast
Dreams in the Guest Room
This chest looks right on a guest room dresser, a nursery shelf, a linen closet ledge or a sunny window seat. It makes a thoughtful present for a baby boy's arrival, a spring wedding shower, a housewarming in a country cottage, or a birthday for anyone who loves powder blue.
Miniature furniture fans often pair the light blue and darker blue chests to show off two moods of the same shape.
