Rochard Light Green Rectangular Limoges Box with Gold Dots

Spring-green porcelain, crisp straight sides and a light shower of gold dots give this small rectangle a fresh, tailored look. Rochard finishes this porcelain Limoges box by hand in Limoges, France, one green rectangle at a time.

Fresh as New Leaves

Where rounds and ovals feel soft, a rectangle feels orderly, and the pale green ground keeps it cheerful instead of stiff. The gold dots tie it to a wider Rochard pattern series, and each one is applied by hand, so the scatter is never quite identical twice.

Right Angles on the Desk

The straight sides make it easy to line up on a narrow shelf, a bookcase ledge or a writing desk beside a pen cup. It looks equally at home on a jewelry tray in a bedroom done in sage and cream. Give it for a spring birthday, a Saint Patrick's Day surprise, a new office, or to a friend who decorates with garden greens.

Greens in the Gold Dot Range

• A Rochard design painted in Limoges, France
• Pairs with the light green conical box in the same pattern
• Fits a green, spring or small-rectangle collection

Paired with its conical cousin, it shows how one color can look different across two very different shapes.
