White Hexagonal Limoges Box with Flowers

Crisp white porcelain, shaped into six even sides and scattered with painted flowers, gives this hexagonal box the fresh look of a sunny spring morning. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, where the pale ground lets every blossom read clearly.

Blossoms on a Blank Canvas

White is the color porcelain painters start with, and here much of it is left showing so the flowers seem to float. The six sided outline adds a touch of geometry, giving the soft floral design a tidy frame from every angle.

Bridal White Moments

The clean palette makes it a natural for a bridal shower, a wedding table or a christening celebration. It also suits a guest room dresser or a bathroom shelf with white towels, where it adds a bit of color without fighting the room. Someone moving into a new apartment with white walls will find it fits right in.
