Floral Light Blue Egg Porcelain Limoges Box

Light blue porcelain and painted flowers combine on this egg shaped box, as fresh as a robin's egg on a spring morning. The flowers on this hand-painted Limoges box were added with a fine brush in Limoges, France.

Robin's Egg Morning

Pale blue is the color most people link with spring eggs, and this one carries that association beautifully. The flowers wrap around the curved shape, so the egg looks pretty from any angle on a shelf or in a basket.

Easter Basket Ideas

Group it with pink, yellow and hot pink eggs for a pastel display on the breakfast table, or nestle it in moss inside a glass bowl. It also stands nicely alone on a nightstand, where its soft color feels restful.

Blue Sky Occasions

• A baby shower present for a mother expecting a boy
• An Easter treat for a grown up egg collector
• A something blue memento for a bride

Collectors of porcelain eggs often say the blue one is the hardest to resist. Hand-painted in Limoges, France, it brings a breath of spring to any room, whatever the season outside.
