Light Blue Egg Limoges Box with Red Embossed Flower

Against a light blue shell, a red flower rises in relief, bold as a poppy in a meadow. The egg is a porcelain Limoges box crafted and painted by hand in Limoges, France, and the top half lifts off.

Poppy on a Clear Sky

Red and light blue make a striking contrast, and the embossed bloom adds texture you can feel with a fingertip. The raised petals catch light from the side and cast tiny shadows, so the flower seems to change through the day. Color is added by hand after firing, giving each egg its own character.

Remembrance and Celebration

A red flower carries meaning for many families, from Memorial Day to Remembrance Day, so this egg suits a quiet tribute as well as a happy occasion. It also makes a cheerful birthday present or a spring table accent. Display it at eye level, on a windowsill or a lit shelf, so the raised bloom can show off its texture.
