Orange Footed Egg Limoges Box with Flowers

Warm orange and painted flowers give this footed egg the glow of a late summer sunset. Standing on small feet, the porcelain Limoges box was shaped and hand-painted in Limoges, France, with its upper shell serving as the lid.

Sunset on Little Feet

Orange is an uncommon color in an egg collection, which makes this piece stand out on any shelf. The small feet lift it upright, giving it the stance of a little trophy. Flowers are brushed across the shell by hand, so every egg in this design carries its own subtle variations.

Autumn Basket Mates

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits an egg, orange or autumn color collection
• Pairs with the red and light blue footed eggs for a color row

Harvest Season Glow

Set it on a Thanksgiving table, an autumn mantel among small pumpkins, or a home office shelf where a warm color is welcome all year. It makes a fitting present for a fall birthday, a November anniversary or a friend who decorates in rust and copper. Lined up with other footed eggs, it adds a sunset note to a rainbow of color.
