Pink Floral Egg with Vertical Picture Frame Limoges Box

A pink egg covered in painted flowers opens to show an upright oval picture frame inside. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, made in Limoges, France, turns a cherished photo into the centerpiece of a little garden of blooms.

Blossoms Around a Memory

Flowers and a photograph make a tender pairing, and the vertical frame suits a portrait of a loved one. The pink shell and its floral decoration are painted by hand, so each egg has its own small differences in color and petal shape.

Portraits for the Frame

• A baby photo for a new mother or grandmother
• A wedding portrait for a bride or an anniversary couple
• A remembrance photo of a parent or a dear friend

Bedside and Beyond

Set it on a nightstand, a writing desk or a vanity where the frame can be opened and admired often. It also suits a curio cabinet beside other eggs and floral boxes, where its pink color adds a gentle warmth. This is hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France, and it makes any photo feel like a treasure kept close.

Many Limoges boxes are hand-painted after the white porcelain is fired, and their metal mounts are fitted by hand too.
