Large Sunflower and Daisy Painted Limoges Egg

Sunflowers and daisies bloom across this very large porcelain egg, a bold Limoges piece that holds its own as a centerpiece. It is hand-painted in Limoges, France.

Where Sunflowers Meet Daisies

Sunflowers bring height and golden warmth, while daisies add a fresh, simple brightness. Together they paint the picture of a late summer meadow, and the generous egg form gives the painter room to let the flowers spread.

Centerpiece of the Season

Because of its larger scale, this egg works where smaller boxes might get lost. Try it on a dining table runner, a sideboard, or the middle of a coffee table, surrounded by a few smaller eggs or spring pieces. It looks equally right in a sunroom or a farmhouse kitchen.

Bright Ideas for Giving

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Anchors an egg, floral or summer meadow collection
• Bright for a birthday, Easter, Mother's Day or a sunflower fan

Egg collectors often look for a statement piece to build a display around, and a very large floral egg fills that role well. It also makes a cheerful housewarming or thank you for anyone whose garden is full of sunflowers every August, and it carries that summer color through the darker months.
