Blue Ribbon and Floral White Egg Limoges Box

A blue ribbon wraps around this white porcelain egg, and painted flowers bloom alongside it like a spring bouquet tied for a gift. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, and it feels as fresh as Easter morning.

Tied With a Blue Bow

The ribbon motif gives the egg a sense of occasion, as though it were wrapped and ready to hand to someone special. White porcelain keeps the design clean, so the blue and the floral colors stand out sharply. It is a simple idea carried out with care.

A Basket of Eggs

• Hand-painted on porcelain by Limoges artisans in France
• Fits an Easter, egg or spring collection
• Pairs well with the raised pink flower egg and footed striped egg

Spring Celebrations

This egg suits Easter brunch, a christening, a spring wedding or a birthday in April. Many egg collectors add one new piece each spring, and the ribbon makes this one a natural first choice. On a windowsill or in a glass cabinet, it brings a light, cheerful note to the room long after Easter has passed.
