Rochard Blue Heart Limoges Box with Roses on a Blue Base
Roses bloom across a blue heart set on a matching blue base, a romantic piece in calm, cool tones. Each rose on this Rochard Limoges box was painted by hand in Limoges, France.
A Bouquet That Never Wilts
Roses have spoken of love for as long as people have given flowers. Painting them onto a heart doubles the message, and the blue palette gives it a gentler mood than the usual red. The base lifts the heart a little, so it stands out on a crowded shelf.
A Pedestal for Romance
- A Rochard heart design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
- Fits heart, rose and Valentine collections
- Pairs with the flowered blue heart and daisy heart boxes
When Words Are Not Enough
Give it for an anniversary, a Valentine's Day, or as something blue for a bride. It is also a lovely Mother's Day remembrance and a kind present for a friend who grows roses. Set it on a dresser, a vanity or a bedside table where it will be seen every day.
Collectors often gather hearts in one color family, and a blue heart on a blue base gives that kind of grouping a strong anchor. Since the painting is all freehand, no two of these hearts bloom quite alike.
