Green Heart Porcelain Limoges Box with Flowers

A green heart scattered with delicate painted flowers, this box blends the language of love with the beauty of the garden. It is a hand-painted Limoges box, formed and painted in Limoges, France.

A Heart That Grows

Green hearts speak of growing love and friendship, the kind that deepens over the years like a well tended garden. The fine floral painting adds a gentle, romantic touch, like wildflowers springing up along a hedgerow.

Garden Heart Groupings

• Joins the green heart with red flowers for a matched pair
• Pairs with lime and teal hearts in a heart rainbow
• Sits nicely among butterfly, birdhouse and watering can pieces

Gifts That Bloom

Give it to a gardening friend, a couple celebrating many years together, or a mother who taught you to love flowers. It is also a gentle remembrance for someone who lost a loved one who adored their garden.

A Little Porcelain Lore

Porcelain making took root in Limoges in the late 1700s, after kaolin, a fine white clay, was found near Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche in 1768. A garden heart like this one carries that long tradition into a modern home.
