Happy Anniversary Oval Limoges Box with Flowers

Happy Anniversary is the message of this oval porcelain box, framed with painted flowers that feel like a bouquet delivered on the big day. It is a hand-painted Limoges box from Limoges, France, made to mark a milestone in a marriage.

Another Year, Another Bloom

Anniversaries call for something that lasts, and porcelain has a way of outliving the flowers and cards of the day. The oval shape gives the message and the blooms a graceful setting, a little like an engraved locket. It is sentimental without being fussy.

For the Two of You

• Hand-painted Limoges porcelain from the town of Limoges, France
• Fits a wedding, anniversary or love-themed collection
• Pairs with a cherub heart or a Je T'aime box for a romantic grouping

Milestones Worth Marking

Give it on a first, tenth, twenty-fifth or fiftieth anniversary, or tuck it beside a card at a vow renewal. Sons and daughters often choose a piece like this for their parents' big year, and couples sometimes exchange one over a quiet anniversary dinner. On a dresser, a nightstand or a shelf beside the wedding photo, it becomes part of the story of the marriage.

Porcelain That Endures

Limoges porcelain is a hard-paste porcelain fired at very high temperatures, which is why a keepsake like this can stay bright through many anniversaries to come.
