Tall Round Dark Blue Limoges Box with Fire Flowers
Fiery flowers blaze across a deep dark blue ground on this tall round porcelain box, a dramatic piece full of color and warmth. The blooms were painted by hand in Limoges, France, on a Limoges box.
Flames in the Flower Bed
Fire-toned blossoms against dark blue create a contrast that feels almost like embers glowing at night. The tall round form gives the pattern plenty of room to wrap around the box, so it looks complete from every side. Painting by hand gives each one slight differences in color and placement.
A Taller Silhouette
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- Adds height to a grouping of shorter rounds and ovals
- Fits a dark blue floral or bold color collection
Warmth for Every Season
This makes a striking present for a milestone birthday, a housewarming, or a retirement. It also suits a fan of bold color, or someone who loves autumn foliage and wants that warmth all year.
Display it on a mantel, a bookcase, or a side table where its height gives it presence. Collectors of blue floral boxes often appreciate a tall form like this one to vary the line of a shelf. Each fiery bloom is hand-painted, so no two are exactly the same.
