Tall Brown Round Limoges Box with Flowers

This tall round box is dressed in brown with flowers painted around it, a warm, grounded take on the floral Limoges box. It is hand-painted porcelain, made in Limoges, France, and it stands taller than most of its neighbors.

Cocoa and Blossom

The brown ground has the richness of chocolate or polished walnut, and the painted flowers bring light against it. That warm combination makes the box feel cozy, like a library on a rainy afternoon. Its height gives the flowers room to wrap around without crowding.

Warm Shelf Company

Brown pieces are rarer on a typical Limoges shelf, which makes this one a smart choice when a warmer palette is the goal. Set it with the round white box painted with brown flowers and the two make a natural pair, one dark and one light.

• Painted by hand on porcelain in Limoges, France
• Fits a warm-toned floral or autumn collection
• Its height makes it a good back-row piece in a cabinet

Cozy Corners and Fall Birthdays

Give it for a fall birthday, a Thanksgiving hostess thank-you, or a housewarming in a home full of wood and leather. It looks right on a den shelf, a mantel among candles, or a desk beside a reading lamp. For anyone tired of pastels, it is a welcome change of pace.
